I really like it! It's a simple but cute character design and I like what you did with the background.

The character's shadow distracts a bit from the text on the background, I'd try removing it and just having the text. I also think there needs to be more contrast in value between the shirt and the skin, they are very similar and blend in with each other. That's all I would change, other than that it's great!
